And on the Eighth Day, God said …

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

LET THERE BE BLOGGERS!

And Men and Women – old, young, tall, short, fat, thin – of all races and creeds came from many varied  and far-reaching lands and formed a World Within a World.

And God called them Bloggers and was pleased.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

But sometimes the Bloggers were confused.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

And sometimes they were sad.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

And sometimes they made God frown.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

But God’s forgiveness is always sweet.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

And so, my children, please come forthwith to our World Within a World, which we call the Blogosphere, and henceforth may ye create.

Not to be confused with G.O.D., he is one of the occasionally confused Bloggers.
    Well done dear….

    • Thanks. Thought you and G.O.D. might appreciate the way I slipped that suckers picture in there. My “real” readers will “get it” – everyone else will just think it’s a nice photo.

More suckers??! How many did I send you? 😕 I didn’t keep track. I was out of – jail – consciousness – my mind – patience, when my wrap-star daughter sealed the package. 🙄

    • Thank you! I’m only just getting into amateur photography, which is why one of the pictures had a date-stamp instead of a name. It took me awhile to figure out how to get the date-stamp off and the name on. I’m also on Flickr.com for anyone who wants to see all of my photos.

  19. I love your blog, if you lose a few they were shallow anyway. We all think differently which is what I love. I may not always agree with everything you say, I will die to defend your right to say it (Anon). Free speech, one each (Roy Harper)

    • I only ask that you read, not that you agree. I certainly don’t expect anyone to die defending me! 🙂

      • The quote was somewhat out of context, it related to freedom of speech. I find that, while some will use the “free speech” we all enjoy in the West to propagate hatred, the majority will use it wisely to provoke thoughts, spread peace and love. While I have no time for haters and trolls or the lies they tell, I will fight for their right to say it.
I’m no saint, and I know some will take offence at my words. On occasion I will also take a stand as a Devils Advocate to try and get others to think differently and see what happens. I long to live in a world without war, crime and hatred but am enough of a realist to know this won’t happen in my lifetime. Why not? Because I’m old now and there are still wars raging which won’t end anytime soon. My body is falling to pieces due to my misspent youth, I’ll be extremely lucky to outlast my dad but Death and I first met more than half a century ago, he’s become that old friend you don’t talk about. I’m not frightened of dying, there’s no need to be. 5 to 1 that no one here gets out alive anyway.
I have a few regrets but thankfully they’re all related to things I started but didn’t finish, like aged 16 a few friends and I were going to emigrate to Australia but after they’d all dropped out I didn’t go. I don’t regret anything I have achieved in my life, my kids have made me proud. I may not get the opportunity to meet my grandchildren but I hope my daughter loves her children as much as I love her and her brother.
