Yes, I’ve posted this before (more than once), but it’s still a favorite of mine – and many of my newer readers haven’t seen it. I re-post this today as a thank-you to everyone who gave me virtual hugs in response to my last post. I apologize for not responding to any of your comments. There was some upsetting family news, but it’s being handled, and I’m feeling much better now. Hugs back to all of you!

And On the Eighth Day, God Said …
LET THERE BE BLOGGERS!
And Men and Women – old, young, tall, short, fat, thin – of all races and creeds came from many varied and far-reaching lands and formed a World Within a World.
And God called them Bloggers and was pleased.
But sometimes the Bloggers were confused.
And sometimes they were sad.
And sometimes they made God frown.
But God’s forgiveness is always sweet.
And so, my children, please come forthwith to our World Within a World, which we call the Blogosphere, and henceforth may ye create.

May our blogging community always remain strong, and may we bloggers share our love and support across cities, states, nations, and continents, regardless of our race, religion, sexual preference, or political affiliation, and despite those who would make those aspects more important than they should be.

So this explains where we came from. Maybe one of us bloggers should start building a giant boat, just in case it begins to rain really hard.

I think you forgot the ‘And sometimes, they made God very confused due to their tendency to pee explosively”. That’s a common thing among bloggers, right? Right???

It was my pleasure. Wish I could put my arms around all of North America and hug it out.

Thanks, Mark. I don’t know why life can never run smoothly, but it seldom does. We’ll be fine.
