On my way to the dentist. Haven’t been in 20 years because didn’t have dental insurance. Definitely not looking forward to this visit! (Maybe I should try to find some black-toothed susans to photograph.)

I have dental insurance at the moment – it didn’t cost me a penny for the cleaning (which took nearly an hour!). Only one cavity and one broken tooth which will require a crown, but the insurance should cover 80% of that.

Wasn’t bad at all. Took an hour for the cleaning, but there was only one small cavity and one broken tooth which will need a crown. After 20 years, I expected much worse.
