Thanks to Marilyn Armstrong for reminding me that I haven’t shown you the final photos of my own bathroom remodel.

Yes, the room is small – but it’s pretty, no?
This is not intended to be this week’s offering. I’m working on a “real” post and should have that up soon. Something to look forward to at the end of a long week!

I want your tub, too! With the grab bar!

Ah, but that tub WAS very expensive – almost $6,000 for the tub & surround. It was the one extravagant thing I insisted on when we purchased the new house as the existing tub was so disgusting as to be unusable. I wanted a bathroom identical to the one we had installed into the old house (and which we were only able to enjoy for a year or two before we sold). I’m enjoying every minute in my new bathroom, and it was worth every single penny.

Thanks, Joey. Nothing like a pretty bathroom to perk one up after a hard day.

Very nice and shiny. And the grab bar is a good idea, in my view. You may not need it now, but one day . . .

Oh, I definitely need that grab bar now. But it’s not necessarily an age thing – my 29 year old daughter says she wishes she had a grab bar in her own tub, and she goes to the gym and is very fit.

Well, they do say most accidents happen in the bathroom. Although for me, my accidents occur when I can’t reach the bathroom in time.
