Living next to a church has its advantages. I call this photo “Hope.” Even though I’m as non-religious as can be, I find this view from my yard comforting.
And then, of course, there are the usual wildflowers:

Creeping Charlie

Buttercups

That certainly is a peaceful neighbor, there!
Have a good weekend, CM! {{{hugs}}}

Ha! I actually worried before we moved in about how much traffic would go up and down our street to the church, and I worried that the parishioners might be a bit exuberant on Sunday mornings, but it hasn’t been a problem. And the pastor and his family live in the house right next door to us, and they are the best neighbors we’ve ever had.

One of my blog-friends used to live right beside a cemetery. 😳 I’m ambivalent about that one. Quiet and peaceful…. but a little spooky. 😕

We looked at a house that bordered on the cemetery. That was bad enough, but it happened to be the cemetery where my kids’ grandfather was buried. We couldn’t handle that.

I know. I can’t even tell you how often that song runs through my head when I see those flowers.
