Yay for me. Maybe 2020 hasn’t been a total loss.
According to WP, I’ve been blogging for 7 years. In some ways, it seems like I just started blogging yesterday; but sometimes it feels like I’ve been on WP forever.
It’s been a bit of a bumpy journey, but I’m glad I stayed the course. For those who weren’t with me in 2013 and 2014, you may find my earliest posts by going to the right side-bar and clicking on Archives, then scroll down to August, 2013 or September, 2013 You’ll be glad you did (or, at least, I’ll be glad you did).
I think my writing was better in 2013 and 2014; however, my photography has hopefully improved. I didn’t start using my own pictures until January, 2015, when my daughters gave me a new camera for Christmas. You’ll note one of those early pictures in the photo at the head of this post – my famous CM Smiley enjoying an abundance of candy.
In December, 2015, I couldn’t resist using the Smiley again for my Christmas photo:
I updated the original CM Smiley photo in 2018 when I got a better camera (and a wee bit more skill):
I don’t know which I’ve enjoyed more – using the Smiley figure or eating the props after the photo shoot.
Of course, not all photographs use props that can be eaten, but they’re enjoyable nonetheless:

We have finally gotten a break in the weather. It’s cool and it’s dry and there’s a hint of fall in the air. Isn’t it fun seeing your photography improving? If you have an eye, you find a way.
