Saw the first bird of Spring here yesterday! A junco, complaining bitterly about it being only 10 degrees F. Who could blame him?

Ugh. I would complain at that temperature, too. It was near 60 degrees F when I took my photo today.

I’m with you, CM. Our 4 p.m. walk around the blocks, keeping distance from the many neighbors we encounter, has provided us with bird sightings and a daily lifting of spirit.

Yep. But later that day, there was a beautiful blue jay just outside my house – and wouldn’t you know it, I didn’t have my camera with me.
