A NEW YEAR

The holidays are nearly over.  It’s 2016 already!

It was nice having people visit and an incentive to really get the house clean.  Top to bottom.  Even the bathroom passed inspection.

But now the guests are gone.  The decorations have been put away, or soon will be.  Time to get back to normal.

Time to attack that laundry!

(Thank you, Jamie – for understanding, and for the silly props.)

Somebody’s shooting Ronald McDonald??? Or is that Carrottop? Either way, not a moment too soon. 😯 Thanx Jamie!
Happy New Year! May it be happy and profitable. 😆

    • When I opened the package on Christmas morning, we all thought it was Ronald, but since the toys were made in China, who knows? I just liked the way that particular figure was holding its hands up in surrender, while the other one was approaching with a club. I was going to add something to the description about fighting calories as well as laundry, but figured some of my readers might not get that reference.

  12. We were on our way to visit the MIL. They are on lock-down at the Senior Center with the flu. She called as we were packing up the car. Last year…the Noro virus took over and we all got sick. Ugh. Happy New Year !! ☺

    • When my mother was in the nursing home, it got locked down at least twice a year for flu outbreaks. I was always torn between wanting to go anyway to make sure she was ok, and wanting to stay as far away as possible to protect myself. Hope everyone at your mother-in-law’s place comes through the episode ok.

  14. The laundry can wait. In this area, the sunshine could disappear any second.
