The note inside the card said to be sure to take a photo or video of the scratch-off and post it to the realtor’s Facebook page.
Being me, I decided to go one step further.
So, Gigi Jankowski of The Certo Team/MJ Peterson – you are now “famous”! (Or as famous as you can be with my limited readership, but hey, every little bit helps, right?)
Note to readers – Gigi is among the best realtors in the Western New York area, and I consider myself lucky to have found her. She represented both my daughter and me in our recent transactions, and she is a treasure. She gets the deal done no matter what the obstacles, and it’s done ethically and timely. On top of her incredible knowledge and professionalism, she managed to keep us sane during the normal ups and downs of selling a house – and in my case, the stress of simultaneously purchasing a new home and enduring the mortgage process. Trust me, my deals were more complicated than usual, but Gigi got us through it.
(My only issue is that the scratch-off was not a winner, but I’m sure that was just an oversight.)

Being in the legal field at the time, I knew most of the realtors. I knew Gigi was good, but during my own deals, I found out just how good she is.

There are good ones and bad ones. The good ones work their butts off, the bad ones just sit around waiting for the commissions check.
