Unfortunately, Cody has digestive problems and can only eat prescription dog food, so she only got a teeny piece of bacon. She did get lots of hugs for posing, though.

Such a cute dog you have there, with those hungry eyes. One way to get a dog to stop begging is to throw them an orange peel or lemon peel. Then they decide they didn’t want what you’ve got, after all. Then you have to pick it up off the floor.

Cody doesn’t go overboard with her begging. Usually she just sits quietly and stares with those sad, hungry eyes. I’m good at ignoring those.

I cannot eat a meal without three pairs of eyes staring at me. The cat is the biggest offender because she will sit on the table and pull food off your plate. I know…. but its my house and the pets rule!

Animals can be pests, but we love them anyway, right? We used to have a dog that was so big he could sit next to me and rest his head on the table while I ate. Now, THAT was annoying!

The grandson’s fiancé calls our dogs ‘puppers.’ It was the first time any of us had heard that usage, but the wife thinks that it is precious, and has picked it up. 🙂
