Whoa! The temperature got to almost 15° F! Teddy Rosalie wanted to go out and play in the snow. How could I say no?
My camera isn’t great on those action shots, so I coaxed Teddy into a short photo shoot instead.
At first, she wasn’t overly thrilled with the snow.
“Well, heck, it looked like fun from inside the house!”
“Sure glad I have a sweater!”
But then her professionalism took over.
“How’s this, Mom?”
“Starting to enjoy this!”
She almost didn’t want to go back in the house.
“Did someone say honey cookies?”
Meanwhile, Puppy Cody opted to stay in and enjoy the single stream of winter sunshine that made its way into the house.
Stay warm, folks. Winter has just begun.

I think that’s why she had such a sour expression in the first snow photo. I know I would have an odd expression if my bare butt was sitting on snow.

It wasn’t really that bad, but then I grew up in this area so I’m used to the cold.

I think if I make Teddy do another winter photo shoot, I maybe should get her a coat, boots and hat. Or at least a blanket.

Thank goodness in my part of the world, snow never comes to us, we have to go to it. In winter it’s a 2 or 3 drive to the nearest snow fields.
Actually, to say we never get snow is slightly inaccurate. We had about 2 inches of snow one day in Sept ember several years ago, and around 20 years ago we had an inch of snow on Christmas eve 😃
