A year or two ago, Opinionated Man of the blog, Harsh Reality, ran a post in which he asked his readers to comment on their physical location. I found it interesting that so many people took the time to join in, from all corners of the world. I’d like to link to that post here, but OM has published so many posts it would probably take a good portion of the rest of my life just to find that particular one!
NOTE TO OPINIONATED MAN: I’ll be happy to include the link if you want to send it to me, or leave it in the comments below.
At that time, I had only a handful of readers myself, and I pretty much knew where all of them lived, seeing as the majority of them were friends and relatives. Now that I’m a big[ger] blogger (relatively speaking), I’ve kind of lost track of where everyone is. Sure, certain readers comment on each and every post – and I know where they hale from. (Yes, that’s bad grammar – deal with it.)
But how about the rest of you? Many of you read my posts without ever commenting or “liking” – that’s perfectly OK with me. You can print off my posts, tape them up, and throw darts at them for all I care. I’ll take whatever attention I can get.
(Just don’t throw darts at any of the Puppy Cody or Teddy Rosalie pictures – that would only piss me off.)
Anyway, to create a sense of community – and to make me feel special – how about leaving a quick comment below and telling me what country or area you are in. Or provide the name of the nearest city or town. When I become rich and famous (i.e., win the lottery), I promise to host a blogger party and invite each and every one of you.
I’ll start: I live in Buffalo, New York, USA.
That was easy. Now it’s your turn. GO!

I love to hear from my readers. You may comment on this post (please), comment on my Facebook or Twitter pages, or email me at cordeliasmom2012@yahoo.com or notcordeliasmom@aol.com

I think you actually got more snow than we did. Hopefully, this coming winter won’t be so harsh.

Hopefully…we always talk about Buffalo and Syracuse being more used to all that snow!

True. With the volume of snow that you had, a lot of Buffalo residents would have just pulled out the toboggans and skis and yelled “Snow Day!”

Sandy Hill Trent. Just a few blocks east of Ottawa University. I rent a place in the student housing area on Osgoode street. It is really handy to all services, the rent is affordable and includes cable and internet, and the neighborhood is good. The other end of Osgoode is all fancy old homes used by diplomats,. including some embassies. If you know where the Russian Embassy is beside Strathcona Park – I live about 1/2 a kilometer from there.
I am almost finished a fiction post form CM – I’d be interested in your opinion when it is posted. She doesn’t know it is fiction this time and it is my first attempt, so we shall see.

And, of course, Reading isn’t all that far, either. We were only about an hour away from you when we went to Hershey a few years back.

Thanks for joining in! So far, most of the comments have been from the US (probably because of time zone issues rather than lack of interest from other parts of the world). My husband has been saying that he’d love to someday drive all across the country – it would be a great opportunity to meet with some other bloggers. Something to dream about.

The closest dormant volcano to Denver is Dotsero Volcano, located approximately 2 hours from Denver in Eagle County. It is the only volcano in Colorado that has erupted in the past 10,000 years.

Committed couples supposedly have a remarkable level of higher education in our area. I live with two lovely Oriental Shorthair cats. And I would stay here if Steve2 gets his act together.
