Here’s a quick poll for my readers.
(Aren’t you impressed that I learned how to do that, all by myself ?!)
I noticed recently that there’s a Flickr.com widget which can be added to this blog. That widget would allow everyone to follow my Flickr.com submissions so as to watch me evolve from a somewhat shaky amateur photographer into something else (but I don’t know what).
You have one week to vote! Go for it!

And Cody is adorable. My Duncan is now 10 months old; we cannot leave puppyhood behind any faster, unfortunately!

I’ve had Cody for a year now – there will be a special post on that shortly, maybe with new pictures.
But as much fun as I’m having with my new camera, I don’t want to overwhelm (or bore) my readers with amateur photos. I’m thinking the widget might be good – those who want to look at it can, but those who want to ignore it are free to do so – just like the awards carousel.

I only have the one dog, so the other photos will be of different things, or other people’s dogs, maybe. 🙂

You didn’t include an “I don’t honestly care” button. It’s not that I don’t care about you, but placement of widgets on your blog? Your issue. I have enough trouble dealing with my own!

A lot of people have never been on Flickr. I didn’t even know it existed until I started my blog and needed pictures.

“Flickr”? So why is it that the letter “e” seems to be persona non grata in the interwebs. Flickr, Tumblr. Sheehs, I feel sorry for the poor letter “e.” It’s the letter that is the most common in the English language and people seem intent upon killing it. That is what you should be blogging about, CM. Long live the letter “e.”
So should I change my name to “Doobstr”?

I have the widget on my blog but I wouldn’t expect much. People who read your blog in their email or in the WP Reader won’t see it. Still, I think a sidebar is good because folks don’t like reading full-width text and if you have a side bar, you should have something on it. I like Flickr.

I know you like Flickr, Dan – I enjoy your photos on it, and I appreciate that you have looked at mine (such as they are). I find it fun, and it keeps me out of trouble (but not off the streets, since there are sometimes really good photo opportunities on the streets. 🙂 )
